We are pleased to announce that Senior Project Manager Matt Benovic, PE, SE has earned the Project Management Professional certification!
This credential certifies that the recipient has been formally assessed and deemed to have the ability to effectively lead and direct the people, processes, and business priorities of a professional project. To be evaluated, the candidate must have completed 35 hours of training and 36 months of project management experience.
The PMP credential is an extremely challenging and time-consuming endeavor. We are pleased to acknowledge Matt’s commitment to the profession of project management and the hard work and effort he has put in to increase his level of knowledge and skills throughout his career.
In addition to this achievement, Matt holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University, and is a registered Professional Engineer and a registered Structural Engineer in the State of Ohio. Matt has also passed the California state-specific seismic and survey exams to become a licensed Civil Engineer in the state of California. Additional certifications include being a LEED Accredited Professional and a California Office of Emergency Services Safety Assessment Program Evaluator.
