Project Overview

The Village of Bratenahl contracted with R.E. Warner and Cold Harbor Building Company for Design/Build services to construct a new service garage and salt dome to replace an existing 100-year old facility that was in poor condition.

The work included:

  • Demolition and construction of a new 9,894 square foot office and service building including a secure vehicle storage area, and a secure above ground storage tank area.
  • Construction of a new 1,792 square foot salt dome
  • Site work including, stormwater pollution prevention control, stormwater management, new pavement and traffic flow analysis
  • New site utilities including storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water lines, electric lines and gas service

Our team was tasked with developing a design to keep with the character of the existing buildings within the Village. In addition, the project was performed in phases so that the existing service garage facility stayed open and operational while the new buildings were being constructed.
