Project Overview
R.E. Warner provided design calculations, construction drawings and QA/QC of calculations and drawings for the architecture, structural and civil scopes of work for a new water reclamation facility.
A biotech company built production capabilities to produce a sustainable, renewable protein using a fermentation process. The process generates wastewater, and the company developed a new water reclamation facility to reclaim and regenerate clean, reusable water and a co-product solid that can be sold. Specifically, the facility is designed to process 990,476 gpd, resulting in 962,987 gpd of clean, reusable water and 83 tons/day of dry co-product.
The project encompassed construction of three new buildings (approximately 27,000 sf total) to house the separation equipment and truck loading.
